Getting Ready to Go...

Well this is going to be quite a boring entry but I feel like if I dont get back on the horse and write something then I may never do so again. The last week has been spent packing, unpacking, driving vans around, and er packing again.. We moved out of our flat in London and carted all of our stuff up North to my parents-in-law's house (god bless them). I suspect perhaps they did not realise QUITE how much stuff/junk we were going to bring when they offered us the use of one of their bedrooms... Anyway like the troopers that they are they didnt complain and we have now taken over about a third of their house.

The remainder of the week has been spent getting all our last minute bits and bobs ready for Nepal, sleeping on my mum's couch while she feeds me nice greek food and today I have been packing my rucksack and am pretty much ready to go. (I have adapted to unemployed life extremely well)

I guess I am a bit worried that I will hate it, or get ill, or fall off a mountain, or a million other things that I love to worry about but I suppose that is normal (?! for me) but mostly I am getting really excited now to just go to the Himalayas and experience the Nepali way of life..

I will update you all once we arrive in the meantime two of our best friends are getting married so we are going to party the night away with them to celebrate!
